Can I have a copy of my deceased mother's will even if it's from a family trust?

A family trust is the document that governs how the estate is distributed. When a trust is present the will usually just places property into the trust at the death of the maker of the trust/will. If you are a beneficiary you should be entitled to a copy of the trust and will.
