Court protected trust funds for a minor

When you have a trust fund for a minor with disabilities thats only suppose to be used for medical or educational needs that is protected by the court. How does the Judge track the account? And if you spend some without permission what can happen?

Re: Court protected trust funds for a minor

Generally there is a trust document which requires the trustee to make periodic accountings available to the court, the intended beneficiary, and/or a guardian or parent of the child. If a trustee violates the terms of the trust, the trustee can be required to repay to the trust the monies unlawfully used. In addition the trustee can be removed and a new trustee appointed. It also can be a crime for a trustee to mis use trust funds.
