Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Utah

My family lives in a terrible house right now. There is mold all around and the actual structure of the house is failing. We really want to move out but my mother is scared that once we move that if people come in and condem it, which they would, that my parents could be charged for keeping her kids in that kind of an envoirnment. Could they legally do something to my parents for that? Would they?

Keep your parents focused on the fact that the children are living in a hazardous environment - molds cause disease, sometimes serious diseases. Move out of the house. If they fail to move and someone comes to inspect, they will be charged with failure to protect their children. It is better to do something now.
