Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Utah

My grandfather passed away and there was a clause in his will that stated that I had to respond to the will withing 6 days or I would forfeit my right to it. I just found out about the will, and I was wondering when those days started.

That is a pretty interesting provision. You need to get a copy of the will to know exactly what to do. However, it seems unlikely that a court would allow you to forfeit anything if you did not have notice. So now that you have notice I would respond in the way the will calls for you to respond. Feel free to contact me if you need help interpreting the language of the will. Good luck.
