Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Utah
living trust
My father and step-mother had a living trust. When my father died, I requested a copy of the trust and got it.
Recently, my step-mother died. I can't find my copy of the trust and really don't remember the specifics of it. Can I get a copy of the trust by contacting the county or state that they lived in? The way thing worked out, my step-brother walked away with everything my dad worked his whole adult life for.
Thanks
Steve

Re: living trust
You will have to contact the attorney that drafted it, although some states and counties will record trusts - most don't. You might be able to open probate and challenge the transfer to your step brother.
