Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Utah
Misreprenstation of my attorney in all matters.
I was found guilty in a civil lawsuit brought by my brother in law against my deceased husband who was the acting trustee over a revocable trust...this being a safe deposit box in a bank.Since my husband was deceased my brother in law then sued me. During bench trial the judge stated that my attorney did not represent me at all. Because of this and only circumstanial evidence he had no choice but to find me guilty. My home was supposed to be exempt but my home and all I possessed was taken from me and I was put out on the street. I asked my attorney about an appeal and was told Ihad 90 days when in fact I only had 30 days...Is there nothing Ican do? Is there any way I can get my home back? A delayed appeal? My home back? They took my retirement and rollover money to satisify the judgement. They even put my attorney on the stand to testify to things that I had told him in confidence.

Based on what you said, you should file a malpractice lawsuit against the attorney. You will need another attorney to assist. You may call for a free consultation if you wish.
