Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Utah

My mother pasted away in Utah without a will. She has an mutual funds account in her name but did not list any beneficiary on the account. What do I need to do to be able to access this account?

If the estate is below $100,000 there is a small estate affidavit that you could send them. If the estate is larger, you would need to file a probate with the court. Let me know if I can be of assistance.
