Probate

My husband passed away and had a

credit card in his name only with a

balance. The company is trying to

collect the balance from me. His life

insurance isn't even enough to cover

the mortuary. Do I need to pay it?

If I don't, will it affect my credit?

If you did not sign on the application for credit and your credit was not used to get the credit card, you are not liable, and your credit should not be adversely affected.
