Legal Question in Business Law in Vermont
contract cancellation for web design services
I have two contracts with a client from the UK that is signed by both of us. The contract states that a retainer payment for both contracts will be payed to me. The client has now backed out and I am wondering if I am still entitled to the retainer payments since the documents are already signed and dated.

At first impression it sounds like an anticipatory breach of contract. I would need to review the document to advise.
