Legal Question in Consumer Law in Vermont
legal responsibilities
I recently ate edamame (japanese snow peas) from a resturant. Later that evening I was very ill, experiencing stomach pains and throwing up. I examined the edamame and found they contained small worms or maggots. Does this resturant have any legal responsibilities for serving this food?

Re: legal responsibilities
You have a prima facie case of product liability/personal injury.
Keep all medical records if any, and I hope you save a sample.
COntact a PERSONAL INJURY atty in your zip code immediately.
You should also report to Health Dept in your State or county. Others may have been affected.
