Legal Question in Family Law in Vermont

Obtaining Temporary Visitation

My wife filed for divorce in Vermont...I reside in Arizona. She has jurisdiction over the divorce, while I'm about to go for ''support establishment''...here In Az.

I am about to be served with the divorce papers, and I want to file for temporary visitation of our son (3 1/2 yr. old) who resides with mother in Vermont, because she has ''controlled'' that aspect though demands for money, etc.

How do I file for this....and do I have to do it thru Vermont?

Re: Obtaining Temporary Visitation

The answer to your question (as to whether cusotdy/access would be litigated in Arizona or Vermont) depend upon a variety of circumstances.

I can explain the procedures better by phone or in person. There is too much to cover via e'mail.

We offer free 1/2 hour consultations, in which we can discuss the matter in more detail.

Please call me directly to discuss the specifics of your case, or contact my assistant Cathy to schedule a free 1/2 hour consultation. I look forward to talking with you.
