Paternity

I may be a father of a child that was adopted by her grandparents after her mother was unfit to be a parent. What steps do I take to petition for a paternity test. I am active duty Navy stationed in Texas and the child resides in Vermont.

Since the child resides in Vermont you may need to hire an attorney who practices in Vermont. Suggest you contact a JAG attorney on base for help.
