Insurance claim
Should I retain legal counsel before answering recorded questions from the insurance agent of the other driver involved in car accident.

Not necessarily. But it is not mandatory you give a recorded statement; it is done for the convenience of the adjuster so no paperwork is needed. You can tell the adjuster (I am sure it is not the insurance agent) that if he/she writes you a letter asking for the information, you will be pleased to respond. Or you can write the adjuster and say that. This is preferable since you won't inadvertently make a statement that either you did not mean literally or make a mistake. Information is needed to be given, how it is given is up to you. If you were severly injured or suffered a large loss, you might consider retaining counsel.
