Lease Renewal Agreement

I have signed a ''renewal agreement'' that indicates that I will renew a lease but my name is not on the original lease ande I have not read said lease. Do I have an obligation to renew the lease or can I get out of it?

it would depend upon the capacity or authority under whih you signed the renewal.
