Correctional Visit denial

I drove to Md from VA serveral times and entered the institution for visits. Yesterday I was turned away because I did not have pre-approval to enter not clearing the metal detector.

So your question is what, you were some how inappropriately discriminated against by the correctional facility for not being able to pass muster with their metal detector and their preapproval rules regarding entry into the facility?
