Disableled And Fired

The company my dad worked for for 25 years fired him without notice while he was out under doctors care Can they do that?????

Depends, but chances are that they can't. Not without more. If he embezzled and then conveniently took medical leave, then of course they can, but if it looks like they let him go BECAUSE of the medical leave, they can't under federal law.

You need to have your dad file a discrimination complaint with the EEOC, andretain an attorney to follow up on the Family Medical Leave Act (FMLA)procedures and requirements.
