Legal Question in Disability Law in Virginia

Run around by govt officials for 3 years

I was injured on the job in 2004. I had a child support order in place before that in another state. I am 100% disabled and unable to do more then take care of my daily stuff. I am in no way able to travel there. I was told to get form a, then form b, and then talk to this person. In 2006 just as I received some back pay I was threatened with jail. I got a lawyer, two lawyers talked, 4k and back pay from SSD pay until daughter reaches 18 and case closed. It did not happen, it is now one year later, and a judge and the DA and my quack decide that I now have to go to the originating state. I only owed $7k now it is looking like it is going to cost me 10k to finish this........ On top of this, with the medicine sometimes I can loose a whole month because the pain medicine is so strong. Was I discriminated against?

As I've already informed you, the receiving state in which your order was

apparently registered, had no authority to alter the child support amount or amend the claimed outstanding arrearages which were determined by the order of the originating state.

I neglected to add that what you've described would appear to have nothing to do with discrimination against your person but rather involves legal procedures which govern the transfer and registration of court orders between the various states.
