Legal Question in Disability Law in Virginia

Sick with MRSA ans pregnant and position was filled

while I was on medical leave from the Doctor. What rights do I have Im with child and was sick with MRSA (Staph infection) and my job told me that I had to provide a release from the Doctor before returning to work and when the time came to present the document they informed I was sick to long.

Unless you're protected by a contract of employment or a collective bargaining type of agreement, you can be dismissed for almost any reason by your employer that doesn't violate federal anti-discrimination laws.
