Re: Stuttering and Disability

There are various sorts of "disability" compensation in the Commonwealth, some of which are short term and others long term. However, as far as I am aware, benefits under these programs are normally awarded to folks who have been employed and then become disabled either from an injury incurred while on the job or or in some cases, otherwise, and are not able to continue working and therefore may be eligible to receive some kind of benefit/compensation for their inability to continue working as they have in the past. However, such benefits are not normally awarded to people who do not already have jobs or who have not been regularly employed.
