Guardian
my friend who is 98yrs old would like me to be his guardian. Is this possible as he has a daughter who is his power of attorney?

It could be possible, irrespective of whether the daughter has a POA, but whether it might be advisable is an entirely different matter which likely would require the evaluation of many more relevant facts than what are provided in your question.
