I am sorry to hear that.
What you should do really depends on the result that you want.
If you left it alone, then his family would PROBABLY receive his share, standing in his place. That would depend on how your will is actually written, what exactly it says.
If that is the result you want, you would probably not need to change anything. (But someone should glance it over to make sure.)

Yes, you should have a new will drawn reflecting the change(s) in beneficiaries necessitated by your
son's passing and any changes in the disposition of
will assets which you wish to make as a result of this presumably unhappy event.
