Legal Question in Appeals and Writs in Virginia
Incompetant Lawyer, is it grounds for APPEAL.
I lost a lease worth $150,000.00 due to my lawyer being incompetant, is that grounds for APPEAL?

No. In civil matters, incompetence/errors of counsel are not grounds for appeal (in criminal cases, incompetent representation can result in vacating a sentence on collateral attack, but not normally on direct appeal). You may have a malpractice claim against your lawyer, though.
