Legal Question in Appeals and Writs in Virginia
judment in VA
i went to court and was ruled i owed 1600 dollars. they told me to contact the collection agency and pay $50 a month. the collection agency says i can only pay that under hardship and need to send them a pay stub and a list of my bills within 14 days. is this correct of them to ask of me?

Unless your court order specifcally states that you're to pay $50 per month on the $1600 debt, the collection agency can require that you submit to a different payment arrangement with documentation to justify it(copies of pay stubs and bills).
