how can I stop this from happening

If you've just been served with this
particular writ, you can ask for a hearing by checking the applicable box if any of the exemptions listed happen to apply to you and returning the form as indicated to the clerk's office.
However, if none apply, the property listed on the FiFi writ will be subject to levy by whatever means are most appropriate for the particular attachment being sought by your judgment creditor, and your only likely remedy then will be to attempt to negotiate some kind of settlement of the matter with your judgment creditor.
