bank levy
If someone has a judgement from Ny and you now live in virginia can ones bank accounts be levied. The judgement is from 7 years ago.

A judgment from any other state can be docketed in VA and enforced like any other judgment once docketed. Also, if the bank also does business in NY, a garnishment there may be effective against the VA resident.
