Legal Question in Bankruptcy in Virginia

I am a 21 year old with about $4,000 worth of credit card dept. I recently moved, and still looking for a job. I have talked to the collection agency several times trying to set up some kind of payment plan but they want all the money and that just isnt posable. Most of the time they are extremely rude. they say that they are going to take me to court. I need help. How can I work with them?

Hello:

It is difficult to work with them. You may want to consider bankruptcy. If not, then make sure that you get a properly drafted agreement for the monthly payment.
