Legal Question in Bankruptcy in Virginia
Can I add debts after discharge
I filed for bankruptcy 4/12/05. It was discharge 8/2/05. Can I go back and add some more unsecured debts even though it's been discharged?
I filed Chp.7 no assets, other than my car (which I kept and am still paying on?
Thanks for all replies.

Re: Can I add debts after discharge
Generally speaking, if you filed a chapter 7 and there was no "asset notice" issued, debts that are otherwise dischargeable are discharged even without notice. There is no need to amend the schedules to add the creditors. Your bankruptcty lawyer should be able to advise you as to the specifics.
