Legal Question in Bankruptcy in Virginia

Bankruptcy Notification

I have a judgement against an individual. He filed for bankruptcy in Oct/Nov 98 timeframe. Cannot find out through my lawyer what the status is. Can I find this out myself? If so, how?

If the bankruptcy case is in the Eastern District of Virginia, the Court has a complete docket system on the internet at http://www.vaeb.uscourts.gov . You can look up the case by name or case number, and then click on complete docket listing to get the whole status.
