I bought my mothers house 15 mos ago and now she is filing

I bought my mothers house 15 months ago and now she is considering filing for bankruptcy. Because of our relationship, is the sale of the house in jeopardy? Thanks in advance for the information.

If the sale was 15 months ago, the only basis to set aside the sale would be if it were a fraudulent conveyance -- conveyed to you for well below fair value with fraudulent intent in order to prevent creditors from getting it.
