Legal Question in Bankruptcy in Virginia

chapter 7 was discharged 11/08, can we still get our refund

We filed ch.7 in 8/08, discharged and closed 11/08. We listed 2008 refunds under exempt (VA code 34-4) but only for $1, we didn't know the exact amount. We have not exceeded our $11,500 limit for exemptions. We have never received verbal or written request from our trustee re: refund. Are we entitled to it?

If it was scheduled and the case closed, you are entitled to the refund.
