Legal Question in Bankruptcy in Virginia
chapter 13 refinance
need to refinance home have arm, was told no because i haven't been in plan for 36 months, only 19,it would help me save my home, but I can't repay 100% of bankruptcy, but can finance the 15k payoff with refinance. Do you really have to lose your home because of this? Not trying to scam anyone, just lower my house payment. What can I do if anything?

Re: chapter 13 refinance
There should be no problem refinancing and paying off your plan from the bankruptcy perspective. If you have a lender who will do it, then your bankruptcy lawyer should be able to take care of the rest.
