Legal Question in Bankruptcy in Virginia
chapter 7
After returning to our lawyers affice, after the first meeting with the trsttees, we discovered the attorney entered some of our debt TWICE! We owe around 50k and he had down over 100k. Will this make a difference with the trustee? He was going to take our home.

Re: chapter 7
The amount of scheduled debt should not make a difference in what the trustee does, except to the extent there is an issue of joint debt being used to justify the sale of property held as tenants by the entireties.
