Legal Question in Bankruptcy in Virginia
A creditor was not on my original filing (Jul 94); but became a creditor before
I filed bankruptcy in Jul 94. In Nov of 94 I incurred a lot of non-covered medical bills. My bankrupcy was discharged in Dec 94. Could I have added these bills in? Can I now? Thank you.

No. In a Chapter 7, pre-petition debt is discharged; post-petition debt is not. If these bills are a serious problem now, you may want to consider Chapter 13 (which you can file now) or wait until July 2000 and file Ch. 7 again.
