Legal Question in Bankruptcy in Virginia
fiancee filed bankruptcy
I am engaged to be married in 1/09. My fiancee has filed for chap. 13 may now convert to chap 7. How will his bankruptcy affect my credit score once we are married? Will my income be a factor in determining his converting to chap 7 once we are married?

Re: fiancee filed bankruptcy
It should not impact your credit score at all. Your income should not be a factor, unless you were in the same household when he filed originally.
