You file a suggestion in bankruptcy with the state court, notify the creditor's lawyer, and notify the employer or bank that is being garnished. But seriously consider hiring a lawyer to represent you in your bankruptcy. You go to a professional for medical care, right? While not life threatening, mistakes in your bankruptcy case can be costly, even to the point of criminal liability.
