Legal Question in Bankruptcy in Virginia

filing after 6 years is it the filing date or discharge date???

I filed a Chapter 13 in April of 1996 that was changed over to a 7 in about 7 months I think . The chapter 13 wasn't dismissed just converted over. Can I file a Chapter 7 again now. Doesn't it go back to the filing date of the begining of the 13????

You would count 6 years from the date of discharge.
