Legal Question in Bankruptcy in Virginia
I lost my job at the end of 2008. I borrowed money from my credit cards to set up a brokerage account, and did daytrading to try to sustain myself. I made some money, but not enough to support myself. As a result, I had to dip into the brokerage account to pay my personal expenses. Now I am considering filing Chapter 7 bankruptcy. I'm strapped. Before I file, can I withdraw any further money from the brokerage account to use to pay my bills, or would that cause problems?
Thanks for your assistance.

Depending on what bills, it may or may not be a problem. See a bankruptcy lawyer before doing anything like this.
