Legal Question in Bankruptcy in Virginia
I am a pro se debtor that filed for a chapte 7 bankruptcy. My husband did not file. We are co-debtors on a vehichle; however, I did not reaffirm the debt in my bankruptcy. Does my automatic stay protect him? If I am discharged, will my husband owe the arrearages?

No, despite your discharge in the Chapter 7 proceeding, I believe that your
husband would technically still be liable for this debt and could be the object of the creditor's pursuit( if it were to realize it).
