Legal Question in Bankruptcy in Virginia
Reaffirmation
If I file a reaffirmation agreement on items such as my home or automobile and cannot pay for them years later, am I still liable for the balance on such loans if they are foreclosed on?

Re: Reaffirmation
Yes, that is why it generally does not make sense to reaffirm debts on which you are current (if you are in VA or one of the other states in a federal judicial circuit that does not require reaffirmation).
