Legal Question in Bankruptcy in Virginia
I recently joined a country club on a trial membership (15 month duration). I prepaid by dues. The club is currently under Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection. If a new buyer purchases the club, can my membership be cancelled? Would I loose my prepaid dues?

The membership agreement could be rejected/cancelled. However, if the buyer continues to operate a country club, it would not be surprising if it continued to honor the membership, since they will need members.
