Statue of limitation

Are there any statue of limitation rules relating to credit cards, and department store credit. I have depts exceeding seven years without any judgments to my knowlege.

There are statutes of limitations, however, in the case of credit cards it is usually governed by the contract you have with them. I am very surprised you do not have any judgments. I would check the circuit court where you lived when you had the credit cards in question.

Of course, in bankruptcy statute of limitations for purposes of discharging unsecured, non-priority creditors does not apply.
