Legal Question in Business Law in Virginia
My 3 year old daughter has been very sick for the past 4 days. If I miss another day of work to take care of her, I will be terminated. This is only the second day I would miss. Is this legal according to the family medical leave act?

No, but to take advantage of FMLA you must first meet the basic criteria of eligibility(one year of previous employment totaling at least 1250 hours)and you must put in for FMLA leave for a specified time period and have it approved by your employer (usually) before you take it.
