Legal Question in Business Law in Virginia
I just bought a new house. While deciding whether or not to buy this house I specifically asked the agent about internet access because it is in a small town. I knew that Verizon did not have it out there so I asked him. In his response to me he was definite that comcast would be available to me when I moved in. I asked this because I telework once a week and need to be able to work from home. I have lived here for over a month now and still cannot get either comcast or verizon. I tried hughsnet also but they both cost too much and the daily download of 200mb would not let me do what I need to do for work. Now every Tuesday when I should be teleworking I am driving an hour into work and an hour home and spending all day at work. Do I have any case to sue Ryan Homes for this??

On these facts, I would doubt it if you mean a case that you could win.
Any attorney will say the purchase contract needs to be reviewed. Does it mention anything about internet access? If not, you are facing an uphill legal battle. Any legal battle is very expensive. Consult with an attorney in your area for specifics.
