Legal Question in Business Law in Virginia

what do i do

my boyfriend put two of his trucks and motorcycle in my name. he put a lien on them. we went into business together cause he couldnt have anything in his name. I filled out the w9 and getting the pay checks. we got a bank acount together and now we broke up. i gave him the trucks back but took money out of the bank to cover taxes that i will have to pay for them being in my name plus the payroll money. now he says if i dont give it all bak he goin to get me for stealing from a busniess. the checks come in my name for the company and the checking account was in both our name but had the company name on it. the business only lasted like 3 weeks. everything having to do with a trucking company was in my name and mine alone. the only thing with the business name one it was the payroll cheks from another company and the bank account.

where do i stand here

The (apparently ex) boygriend is merely blowin' smoke, so to speak. Tell 'em to take a hike as he has no case against you for stealing business assets which are in effect only in your name and which apparently you will use primarily to pay the defunct business' justly owed debts.
