Legal Question in Business Law in Virginia
broken contract
I had a contract between, myself (subcontractor) and a contractor, for my services as a plumber, the contract has recently expired, and the contractor has failed to fulfill his part of the contract. What can I do to ensure that I get paid for my services?

Re: broken contract
Sue him in small claims court (which will not necessarily ensure payment but it's certainly a step that could cause it to happen).
