Legal Question in Business Law in Virginia
business contracts
I bought a business last september from someone who falsified the numbers by about 50%. Do I have any way of getting out of the contract? I will be unable to pay bills at the business or at home within a couple of months.

Re: business contracts
I would go to the attorney you had review the contract before you signed it. I'm sure he or she will be glad to help.

If you can prove that the seller falsified the numbers, and that you could not have known, you may have a claim for fraud. See a lawyer asap.
