Legal Question in Business Law in Virginia
I am a business that sells custom work. I receive this work from a vendor. Customer puts a deposit down on custom work ($2300). I receive item after an unusual amount of time (some circumstances involved) and there is a misspelling. I immediately call vendor to get a replacement going. Customer decides to go elsewhere. Now customer wants full deposit back. Am I required to honor that?

Without knowing the terms in the contract that might govern this particular transaction, I couldn't offer
an opinion on this particular issue, i.e., refund of customer's deposit.
