Car payment agreements

At the time of the agrrement on my 2007 chrysler 300 touring i had a past due amount of 235.00 and i requested a payment extension wich was granted for one month after the extension was granted a 250.00 payment was returned and placed onto the account. does the agreement prior to the amount returned to the account still prevail.
