Collecting debt from banks....
Hello! I am an real estate appraiser in Virginia and I have SEVERAL past due accounts from banks I have done work for which I am having a terrible time trying to collect. What are my options? The debt is over $5K.

It sounds like you are saying that more than one bank is failing to pay. You could certainly sue them. Perhaps having an attorney write to them would help. I do not know the answer off hand, but chronic failure to pay a vendor might be of interest to the state regulators.

There is no reason you can't sue to collect your money.
