Legal Question in Business Law in Virginia
My IT Company's invoices have not paid (from the contract-breaching company) for more than 5 months (on and off and more than one year), where in our contract, the maximum delay cannot exceed 60 days. If we sue the company, can we ask from Punitive damages/remedies of 2% monthly interest and other penalties?

Yes, you could ask but probably would not get the primitive damages which you've
suggested under these particular facts. (This, of course, assumes that you were successful in your breach of contract suit against this allegedly breaching company but would likely have to settle for something less than punitive damages in my opinion.) .
